Hey all,

I have been running the site with this design for a while now but I'm always looking on ways I can improve the site.

Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your time...

Seeing as no one has given you any tips yet heres my two cents:

1. Turn it into a two column layout instead of three, its very cluttered and does no justice for your content. I suggest removing the first column and moving the categories above the first sponsor on the third column.

2. The breaking news widget you have in place doesn't seem to be adding much, as its only displaying the latest content which is shown on the home feed anyway, therefore I suggest removing it and putting a sponsor there, if you choose to go with the two column layout - otherwise a most popular widget.

3. There doesn't seem to be an option to allow visitors to leave comments on your articles, is there a particular reason for this? If not I suggest allowing comments to increase user engagement and more dedicated users.

4. I would add some hover(rollover) effects on the navigation to make it easier for users to see what they are selecting.

5. I don't know why your gallery is not part of the website, and I need to visit an external link - this should be changed.

Hope that helps and makes sense, I only just woke up.

If it's a newspaper, the main focus should be your news stories, not your excessive and overbearing amount of sponsors and advertising. Currently your content is in a tiny spot, lost in the centre, surrounded by flashing adverts. As a start, how about adding a feature box in the top-left corner where you will have your main news stories, and then build the other stories and adverts around this?
