I am trying to create a store locator and would greatly appreciate some advice on implementation of the google maps API.

 

I have a PHP page which links to a MYSQL database, the address and postcode of the locations is held within the database, I would like the end user to be able to input their postcode and selected radius into my php page, and see the corresponding results from the database, but am unsure how this could be implemented?

 

Any pointers or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey,

 

I did a project that needed this a couple of years ago. I simply took the postcodes and with the help of google maps converted them to a Lat and Long.

 

I then simply found the distance between these two points.
