Background colours missing

In all major browsers with the exception of Google chrome the background menu and dropdown menu links change colour.I chrome they don't appear at all. Any ideas how to rectify this please. Link below. Try in Firefox first to se how the links and background menu colours should appear correctly. Thnks for any help.

Tried in Chrome, IE9/IE8 and FF4 and the menu looks the same in all. The header image is missing in all of them though.

Strange. This is what it looks like when I view it in Chrome version 0.0.0.0.

Just downloaded the same version and it works fine now. Dunno what went wrong through but thanks for your help Zed.
