I think you mean css, cascading style sheets, not too difficult to learn but you will have to get into some coding, hth

Best thing to do is let the developer know that you require this functionality as part of the specification.

Be warned that you may be charged more for the privilege and even then you may need to get the hang of some very basic markup code.

Unfortunately on the web it's almost impossible to stay away from it completely.

It'd be an idea to check your contract first, jsut to make sure you actually have the rights to make changes. Standard practice is for the designer to hold copyright unless otherwise stated. If you need to, you should be able to purchase all rights and working files for an additional fee.

Usually, it wouldn't be a problem if it's just for things like editing content, but if you're planning larger changes, it's worth checking.

Bumfluff is correct, you need to check what the agreement was/is with the developer. The last thing you want is to land in hot water for making some changes.

Bumfluff and RobH both are correct and if you get the access permiossion then the first thing you need to do is inform the programmer about your requirement so that he does the neccessary things.

And while you are implementing the design into HTML then you also have to keep this in mind and make the CSS as such that it is not difficult to edit after coding...

For example, If its a PHP based project then I think it will be much better to use smarty technology.
