Hey Guys,

 

Ive been designing this site for a day or so now and have hit a wall. I am trying to apply a different background to the top of my page (so the dots always point to the middle. I have created Div's for it all, but I cannot get it to display at the top behind the header. Any ideas?

My initial thoughts are,

 

I run a very lets say, Large monitor, I think I grasp your concept, is your website going to stay that size? because if you have the bottom 'dots' facing upwards its just going to look silly as it does now because you have a straight edge and for people with bigger screen resolutions its going to look sill, I however love the current design, why not try and keep the top 'dots' and completely wipe out the bottom ones, Think of something to 'fill in' the space, remember it looks great sofar the bottom bar personally I think will spoil it.

 

Edit: and unfortunalty it displays incorrectly in I.E6, I dont know about I.E7 however.

I agree with the footer comments, the middle gap looks kinda odd to me.

 

I "think" you mean that on the top bar you want a different background on each side of the header image, is that it? At the moment you have the one tiled.

 

Personally I think a better way around it would be to not have different dot angle, just have it "fading" straight up or down, then you can use a much smaller image (only need to be one dot wide) and tile it at the top and bottom. That'd sort your bottom middle problem too.

Yeh, the images at the bottom arent supposed to be there. i have moved them up to where they should but they sit over the header. Is there a way of setting them behind the header?
