The design is very good, certainly feels and looks like a wine site.

 

One tiny critique I would have is that the navigation doesnt feel part of the site, its all the way up top and out the way.

 

When I landed on your page my focus point is ur title area with the pictures, so immediatly I was looking down at the content from there.

 

Good job otherwise

id change this to a more relative colour:

background-color:#553c19;

i hear you anth thanks!! ill see what i can do about that!

with the background colour, alzer... i had planned on changing that dont worry just had some funky colours when setting up my divs..

 

im also interested in how well the site is centered on different resolutions. so far so good, but there may be a rogue setting that might mes me up!

I checked out your background, I stretched my IE8 browser across two 17" screens and it kept in proportion and still looked fine blending wise think you may have that one sorted.

The imagery is good, but the typography leaves much to be desired. I see no obvious hierarchy, the menu gets lost at the top of the page and the body copy is cramped.

 

With a wine site I expect typography to be spot on, so I'd revisit it.
