Hey everyone,

Just uploaded my new portfolio, you can check it out here here

Would love to hear your thoughts :)

Thanks,

Adam

Hi) I like your website. Your navigation is easy, I easily browsed your website. I want suggest you to develop better logo design. Yor current one looks like stamp. Also I think that you used too much grey color.

That looks lovely :) The coloured, transparent tooltips are brilliant.

I think the logo is nice.

A couple of suggestions if they help:

  • I felt strange to me to have the font colour changing on hover, but without it being a link. I wanted to click - but couldn't. Especially on the 1-2-3 section. Maybe just keep it black? I think that would look ok.
  • The proposal form felt very overwhelming... maybe trim it to the bare essentials. You want it to be *easy* for people to contact you, especially in the first instance! You can always find out the rest of the important information later. Don't let people's first experience of working with you be a onerous one!

Very nice design, I felt that the site was a little laggy on rollovers :( Good work thoe

Good work man.

Love the design, the subtle effects and the minimalism (if thats even a word).

I like onepage portfolios and the type of scrollTo navigations, but in your case I'm not sure if its necessary.

I dont think your page is long enough to make me wanna click the navigation link such as "Processes", I can see it without scrolling the page at all.

Another little thing is, when I click on a project and the image fades in, it think it's a bit too slow. This is just my personal opinion though, I prefer when things load faster.

Very cool looking site!

Get looking webpage but it has a couple issues.

I'm not sure if the about me section should be hidden automatically. It's important information that is only available if you hit the main navigation or click a small button you would never know was a button. I think just showing it by default would be best because your visitors are looking for it right away. So why hide it?

On the same note your webpage is not very long so I don't think a navigation is even needed. I came away feeling "I could have done that" and felt you were almost treating me like an idiot and couldn't scroll myself. The effect is nice, but it's not needed.

Your contact foris much to detailed. That kind of questions should be left to the client interview, not a basic contact form.

I'm looking at it on an iPad so I couldn't see what hover effect your have so keep that in mind. Aka I don't know what is there so make sure it isn't something the user needs.

I like the look of the site just needs some refinement with how it works. Make sure it acts smart as well of looking smart.

Edit. The link to the contact form doesn't stand out that it is a link. You might want to change it to something make makes a little more sense.

I've changed the colour on hover as I always like to differentiate between what I'm reading and what I'm not. And the contact form isn't really a contact form, its more for people that are serious about wanting a new website. Plus others normally just send an email and then I ask them to fill out the form later on :)

Thanks for your feedback though )

thanks alot! :)

I know what you mean about the scrollTo navigations, but it looks odd without links there plus I can't just have links and not do anything with them? So i was in two minds about it.

As for the fade in, I just wanted to make sure people got a glimpse of the logo in the background, but could speed it up a tad I suppose.

Thanks again for the comments :)
