Slideshow not working in IE

Featured Replies

Hi All

I've done a site: www.rumbleandson.com and the slide-show on the homepage isn't working on IE, but seems to be ok in firefox.

Would anyone mind helping me out and see what I'm doing wrong?!

I got the slide-show from here

Thanks

Kerstey

it it's any consolation it doesn't work in Chrome either so may need a double check of the code.

there are quite a few validation errors that I'd look at first

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.rumbleandson.com/&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&ss=1&outline=1&group=0&user-agent=W3C_Validator/1.1

and a quick stab in the dark, remove the space you have in the directory name?

"images/home slideshow/homeslide2.jpg"

I've seen spaces not being liked before.

okay, not that.

I tried it locally and forgot to put a path to your jquery.min links. It worked.

You're loading two versions as well but the problem does lie around that.

Right, first thing...

Thanks for reminding me about the validator. Can't believe I forgot to do that. Have now done it, and all is validated and correct apart from the contact page, but I'll look at that once this is sorted.

I've removed the duplicated line pointing to the jquery.min links and it's done the trick. Hurrah!

Thanks for your help.
