Is it possible to remove local business listing , how many days it take to delete

Yes, it is absolutely possible.

All you need is to go to the setting and you can do two things

 

A) suspend the listing

B) Delete the listing alltogether

 

It is advisable to suspend the listing for you may like to resume that later.

Suspending a listing removes it from showing up in Google Places.. It takes atleast 2 weeks minimum.
