OK so I thought this would be a simple process. find the place I would like on the map, preview and customise the size and then embed the code into the site. Well how wrong was I.

 

When the map is embedded its positioned a good 10inches off but yet the google maps preview was spot on! Whats going on? How can I fix this? are there any hacks or anything out there you know of?

The only way I have found to resolve this is to position the map in the wrong position before i embed it, therefore when i embed it and it moves its in the right position. There must be a better way to resolve this? Surly Google should know of this issue?
