I designed a simple website for a friend, all going well, however a few people have said the slider is not visible from Internet explorer.

 

I checked it in IE 8 and Firefox 3 on my Mac and seems to work fine. Can anyone provide me with some assistance?

Start by stripping out the rest of the Javascript - the crappy autogenerated preloader and swapper. Limit your test case to the bare minimum, then add stuff back in to see where it breaks.
