Google think i have broken links

Featured Replies

I just went to see how many pages are indexed, keywords and any errors which i dont think i have!

Anyway i have been to google and they think i have errors on pages

http://www.derby-web-design-agency.co.uk/index.php'>http://www.derby-web-design-agency.co.uk/index.php

http://www.derby-web-design-agency.co.uk/

http://www.derby-web-design-agency.co.uk/?start=5

for starters they are all index.php page but i have checked it, there are only a few links on that page so its easy to see... Plus where the hell as it got the /?start=5 from... especially on my home page?

which point to this url... http://www.derby-web-design-agency.co.uk/a

Any ideas?

I just thought I would take a look at this and find no errors with coding and no broken links. Maybe just a blip. The site was cached on the 15th October and the ?start=5 may have been during some amendments.

The Google analytics should be the last thing BEFORE </body></html> as its an object and maybe you can lose the CData when you previously validated it.

<script type="text/javascript">

var _gaq = _gaq || [];

_gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-19255025-1']);

_gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);

(function() {

var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true;

ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js';

var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);

})();

</script>

regards,

Hi thanks...

The website wasnt even up on the 15th lol so i wonder how google did that... :)

Also i thought that but google have changed there script and have asked it to be there:

This is what they say when copying and pasting the script:

"Copy the following code, then paste it onto every page you want to track immediately before the closing </head> tag"

Doesn't look right does it lol...

Cheers for trying to help and letting me know about the cached version on the 15th :)

Oh when i say not up, i mean not live... I have a index.html holding page with all links being just # so shouldnt be any broken links and shouldnt be able to get a php coding url from it lol
