Wordpress problem

Featured Replies

Hi

I've been using MAMP to create a wordpress website offline. I went live with it this morning to test it out everything uploaded right database seems okay i can log into my admin area and edit things. Now when i go to the website URL the index page appears perfectly. however none of the rest of the site works. I just get "page cannot be found".

In the admin area the page urls match up with what the links are trying to bring me to and all the pages are published etc and were running fine locally the site is

Totalirishdancing.com

All help appreciated!

I would guess it's down to setting permalinks, which need mod_rewrite. Maybe your webhost disables mod_rewrite by default.

Take a look at this.

You can probably still view the page using the old URL structure.
