I would try to minimise scrolling as much as possible. The graphic at the top doesn't need to be there on every page - at least create a banner version. Also think about leaving more whitespace. Hope that crocodile was well fed.

Hi,

On first glance for me the illustration needs a bit more depth, it looks a little two dimensional. I also think the analogy of the houses on the edge of a cliff is a bit tenuous. I get it but maybe the illustration needs to have more of a touch of humor to it.

Perhaps amazon is on top of a mountain and Seattle SEO build a rickety old scaffolding to pip them to the top. I don't know, just for me the graphic is not saying 'Success' or 'Ha, We Beat you!'.

I am also a sucker for horizontal nav bars, especially with a single column layout, nice touch keeping it in view, maybe trying it on the horizontal with a contrast to the enable it to stand out, it kind of disappears a bit at the moment.

On the right lines for that 2.0 look I think just needs that extra sheen. Those punchy one column sites usually have a real good hook to get you to read on, funny, clever, or whatever. I hate those guys!

Good Luck with any further modifications.

Chris
