September 25, 201016 yr Hello peeps, I am an amateur web designer. I have a small portfolio of websites that are centered with a fixed width. I wondered if a few experts could give me some general information on getting started in designing for hand held devices. How does design for hand held devices differ from that of average monitor sizes. Can I simply add some javascript code to recognize the monitor size or is this an amateur way of diversifying my websites for mobile phones. I am interested to know how the experts do it. As I say I know absolutely nothing about this so even the most obvious snippets of info will be of use to me. Thanks everyone!
