Rejected by marketplace - help wanted!

Featured Replies

Hey you guys!

So I found this website while I was looking for someone to rate my theme.

It has been rejected by some market place to sell it so I am wondering if I can find help on this forum.

I would really appreciate it if you helped me with that!

Anything that jumps in your eyes negatively? Feel free to say it!

Please do not judge the content since it's only a lorem ipsum.

The general topic is religion.

Thank you much in advance,

greetings,

GC

If I am being honest;

It’s a bit full-on, I thought it had a nice simple interface, until I scrolled down the page. It didn’t seem specifically balanced and nothing specifically pulled my eyes in. But that was only because there seems to be too many menu tabs at just about every angle. That’s only my opinion as a non-professional. I do like the very top section for simplicity though.

Have you considered that the religious content is putting the markets off, if it is only lorem ipsum then why not change it to something more befitting of such a vibrant site. That is a pure guess though and really the content shouldn’t matter, but remember the people auditing the sites are people like you and me.

Sam

I'm not religious, but I like the design. Love the background colours.

The only thing for me are the images for the menus - they make it look like a website selling computer software.

Coherent issue surround the menu's then! I think its subjective, im still learning web coding so my opinion is purely more from a users eye view. Design wise it looks good but takes too long to learn where the menus are etc. When i feel like I have reached the bottom of the page it seems to carry on going, then it does the same again.

The background is nice :)

Dear Sam and DC,

I thought I would be noticed if anyone replied to my thread so I did not know you guys replied!

Thank you so much for your opinion!

Sam may I ask you what you mean by it takes too long to learn where the menus are?

And what "does the same again"?

I changed many things in the layout now,

if you wanted to look at it again and tell me if it got better or even worse?

PS it doesnt matter at all if you're "professional" or not, I need subjective opinions cause that's what the customers do, they judge if they like it or not.

Thank you again,

yours,

GC
