Colour of Graphics Displaying Incorrectly on iPhone

Featured Replies

Hi

I have some logos designed in photoshop using only web-safe colour palettes. For some reason, on the iPhone these graphics do not match the colours on the screen on my Mac.

This means they do not merge correctly with the background colours etc.

Any reason why this may be the case?

Cheers

Maybe you are saving colour profiles in the image (ICC), and with the different gamma settings on the mac it will look ok, and will also look okay in other colour managed web browsers on PC like safari, but probably wont in IE. I dont think safari on the iphone supports colour profiles.

Save your images without a colour profile (ICC info) and see if it makes any difference. As a mac user you should also be aware that what you see on the mac will look different to how it looks on a PC if you have the default gamma settings.
