Django all the way

I have some basic Python skills, having gone through the first few Euler problems a few years ago http://projecteuler.net/ to try it out. It seems fairly straightforward to pick up in itself. I've heard of Django from various quarters and it comes up in a number of job specs, so I thought I might try and learn it. What are your experiences with Django and what advantages can it give to web development over other frameworks?
