What's changed since the last topic?

its live and is fully W3C, and would like a bit more feedback to see if there is anything i could do to better this site.

Well I'm new to wd but I'm guessing search engines won't be able to know what it is because all of your content is images there's no text at all from what I can see. However I might be wrong.

That is just on the homepage mind. On the bio page there's text but would be interested to hear what others think?

THanks for the feedback, im thinking of making the quote on the homepage <h1>, i dont want text all over the homepage just need to be kept simple.

Definately not good practice to have empty alt tags on your images. If you don't want text on your website try utilising the alt tags to stick words in there that search engines will pick up.

Sure but you don't need the following images as images you could do it much simpler with just css and it won't be as heavy:

The images

"Kaluki Musik launch their brand new imprint with an awesome release from Jozef K!" - Can be done with css,

"BIO ...how it all started" - Can be done with css,

Events ...the next step" - css,

Music ...let me listen" - css.

I think this will help with SEO and the page size won't be so large.

the images are seen as background images though so i can use the css rollover, can i add alt="" to a <span> or possible a background image

Thanks, i think i will do this.

FOr the moment it isnt too bad but when i get the time i will invest in this. I get overexcited in photoshop and just export, saves much time lol. SHould be doing things corectly though i suppose. Thanks for your help.

Can you give a div a class for example <div class="intro">text goes here</div> then give the class a background image, style text, size of div (to fit image), etc etc within the .intro class in your css?

can i add alt="" to a <span> or possible a background image

My comment was regarding the background images, such as 'images/Main_Index.gif' and the various spacer images. The background image in particular should have a proper alt tag (you could put the text from the image in the alt tag for example.

Thanks, i think i will do this.

I get you now yeah, thats what i think im going to do. Will increase the load time a lot i asume rather than these images everywhere.

Thanks, yeah ive done this, suppose its a start. Thanks.

Very original design there mate!

One issue I'm seeing is on the Music page - the left side bar appears really busy at first glance, and it takes a couple of seconds to make any sense of whats going on with the music players etc.

I think if you have a play with the spacing on there a bit it will look great.

As this post is more about design I won't go into the code side of things, but from a users point of view it looks like it will do it's job well!

Cheers

Jase
