I love the header and footer, they look really nice, good work!

I think the heading tag just below the main top image could do with some work, it looks a little bit bleak, the text that is, I would recommend maybe keeping the text plain and adding some thickness along with bigger size, see how the clean layout works with a crazy header and footer!

Also the links could with some work, but difficult, hmm I do like the header and footer tho, good job so far!

header links or intra site links? because I am coming up blank on what to do for both... Does the menu look alright? It lacks some way of indicating what section your on, but its a complicated maze of including posts in different places on the site so I am not even sure I could mark the sections in code correctly. hmm.

The header and footer look lush, and the menu fits nicely there too. The 'home' text in the content area looks nasty on that horizontal image for the title though.

Like the others, I like the header and footer.

I noticed that some of the text, when it wraps does not align with the other lines.

Also I would make a selected menu item active, so the user can identify which page they are on. Example, when on the people page, highlight the people menu item.

Lastly, maybe decrease the opacity of the drop shadow behind the main content area to make it more subtle.
