June 25, 201016 yr Looks very nice considering it's ya first website! Couple of points for ya: Put John Clements Ltd at the end of the home page title tag. The more important keywords should always be first. The vertical navigation. There is nothing stopping you doing all of that in pure CSS and actual text links. Much better for the old SEO The file skirting_architrave.html. It's best not to use an underscore to split words. Always use either - or + as Google counts them as spaces, whereas an underscore isn't. Although ya have done a great job of using keywords as file names. Changing the vertical nav as suggested will definitely make full use of what you have done there! Regs, Numb Regs, Numb

SEO is the next step for the site, just waiting for my mate to decide on the keywords he wants to optimize for then I will optimize the site for those and start a link building campaign to run alongside the SEO. I almost slapped myself when I read you comment about the vertical navigation. I was so engrossed playing with fireworks and slicing the menu that I completely forgot I could have done it in CSS. The site I webmaster at work uses text links for navigation to make it SEO friendly so I should have realised it. The sites www.blueprintjoinery.co.uk if you want to take a look. Any comments would be appreacited, however this site is very much a work in progress still with SEO & content still being worked on. Will make the changes to the vertical navigation thought.
