I have mailman installed on my server.

I'm doing my nut trying to work out how to use it.

I've managed to create a list in cPanel, logged into the mailman admin panel and invited 2 members. No email is delivered to those members. I've subscribed a member ok now too....

But how the heck do you send an email to your list?!?!

The mailman website is useless. One person posted an FAQ - how do I send an email to a list and got this response: Messages sent to the list alias are distributed to the list's subscribers, for example a message sent to mailman-users@python.org gets distributed to the subscribers to the mailman-users list

If anyone can point me to a decent support site, or document I'd really appreciate it.

Basically exactly what the FAQ said... you email listname@domain.com and it will distribute/forward that email to all of the subscribers.

It doesn't. Nothing happens. I emailed from outlook to the list and no emails came through. Apparently, subscribers & sent emails should appear in my admin panel - Tend to pending moderator requests - nothing there either.

I've clearly done something wrong...just don't know what it is.

Does the email you're trying to send from appear in the members list?

No - the email I'm sending from is the admin email address. A tutorial that I read said that's what you have to use. Which is right?
