Hi there!

I have launched recently a web/graphic design company.

www.ideal-studios.co.uk

We have been changing the website quite often for the last month to make it look professional but also fun.

So my question is what would you change? what do you like and what don't you like?

How to improve? Is the background ok? Would you change the color of the header and footer to another colour?

Thanks for all your feedbacks.

Have a good week end!

Kind regards,

Ben

Looks like a wordpress site unless I'm mistaken? Seems like the tool of choice for most web designers these days.

The site is very neat and I like the header colour. The blue on the nav seems to clash a bit with it though.

On the homepage - in the about us/services/why us boxes there's a rollover image at the bottom right that goes blank as you hover over it. Its taking time to load the orange rollover image.

There are ways around this using css positioning so that the same one image is used - that makes the rollover instant because the browser doesn't need to load another image.

Just a small point but I thought it would help with the site 'tweaking' !

Also, while I like JQuery etc it appears you've over-used the effects a bit..

Overall though it's good

The website has been designed from scratch.

Any other feedbacks please?

Like I said - it 'looks' like just another wordpress site that I've seen millions of times before (whether that was used or not).

Seems to me like many designers just copy off each others style either intentionally or subliminally.

Nothing new unfortunately mate.

The design is so messy... You are using so many fonts/colors/styles that nothing is consistent with anything else. Its a complete design mess.

Also, the HTML5, did WordPress do that or you? You have completely abused the <section> tag.

The only thing I'll say is that the graphics bouncing in and out of the pages under the header started to do my head in after a while. Apart from that, I think it's really nice.

I prefer the mock up.

Same. Looks alot better compared to the one that's currently live.
