January 28, 200818 yr Hi there, I do some basic web design (more of a print designer) and usually I design my flat design in illustrator, slice it up and import the images into Dreamweaver in a table format. Usually I leave the cell in the middle of the table free for text. However, I am doing a design, laid out in Illustrator and the background is not a solid colour so I just want to convert the whole file straight into a format that will recognise the text as html in Dreamweaver. Can I do this? Can anyone point me in the direction of some tutorials or a good book? I have searched loads and I can't seem to find anything of great help! Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me ... even just a little!
January 28, 200818 yr Author Hi there and thanks for your reply ... I've found some stuff out about saving slices as html text/images etc, but I don't know how to insert a html slice into dreamweaver? In Illustrator I can make a slice, specify it as html text, save it for web and then ... I can't find it??????
