Problem with layout in some Firefox browsers

Featured Replies

Hi all!

My first post here... I'm having a strange problem on my website, which some of my visitors are experiencing, but I can't get it occuring myself.

My friend has Firefox 2.0.0.11 + XP (as do I) and he sees my site like this: http://www.ee.oulu.fi/~vileda/gallery/capture/f1-online.png

But for me the site is absolutely spot on with every browser and OS (Tested Ie6 + XP, Firefox + XP / Max OS X, Opera + XP / Mac OS X).

The site is www.f1-online.fi - I found it impossible to fix this as I can't see the problem myself - perhaps someone could figure out what the issue is as I certainly can't.

One user had the same issue with Opera as well as in the link above.

Thanks,

Kimmo Helle

I've tested the browser compatibility on this website and it seems fine to me. I'd suggest to your friend to clear his cache and try again.

I wouldn't worry about it as it sounds more like a problem your friend has locally..

Check out Broswershots. It'll run your site in a number of browsers and give you the screenshots of how it renders. This should help at least identify which version is having problems.

Also, not sure if this is the case or not, but the screenshot you supplied is using Opera, not Firefox...but I've tested in Opera9 9.25 and all seems fine.
