Movie .swf

Featured Replies

Hello

I have included .swf movie into a website I am designing.

Once the movie has played it shows an error message on the screen and the user has to use the back arrow at the top left hand of the screen to navigate back to the website.

Does anyone know how to put a 'skin' on the .swf movie so that the user has control of stop/start?

I would be very pleased to hear from you.

Thanks, Kath

I think you would probably need to put the controls into the swf itself....I can't say that I've ever had the same problem though - why not just set the movie to loop?

Thanks, I put it onto loop and that is better, although you must ok the following error message before it starts up again: "cannot find file (file name and path) make sure the path or internet address is correct"

I used: hidden="false" to display the controls to no avail

and: controls="smallconsole" to no avail either.

It is a movie on a web page that the user has to activate and not a resident movie.
