I'm looking for a Network connections monitor to install on my machines, preferably free. I'm not interested in details of activity just the tallies therefore ability to output isn't necessary.

 

Must:

• Run in background
  
  • Innate ability to hide system tray icon
    
  • and no menu bar appearance.
    

  [*]Retain Transfer Totals between Powerup and Down.

  [*]Must log the Network connection itself and not just browser traffic.

 

I open to ideas, I've looked on sourceforge but the 2 I've tried either lost the totals between runnings or couldn't be hidden by themselves or by windows.
