Multiple domains from single hosting

Featured Replies

If I host multiple domain form single hosting plan, all website will get single one IP? If I purchase reseller account then also all domain get same IP? Generally Google gives value for link, when it comes from different IP. I want to host 10 website and link my 2 website one way. Except dedicated IP for each website is there any option available? Kindly suggest me your opinion.

A multiple domain plan on a control panel like cPanel, where all your domains are managed as 'Addon Domains' under the same cPanel account, the domains will all on the same IP - regardless of whether you've purchased a dedicated IP. For you to separate your domains onto separate IPs, they need to be done so as separate cPanel accounts (so, this can be done as a reseller).

I think you should check your facts about Google favouring websites on dedicated IPs. Most of the internet's domains are on shared IPs, there would be no sense in Google devaluing these websites.

Save your money as there's no need to purchase extra IPs. Also, if your websites are hosted in Europe, then due to regulations hosts need to abide by (from RIPE), the use of a dedicated IP needs sensible justification - whereby the website could not function without it. SEO is not one of them.
