I am about to purchase a php client management script so clients can upload files, see invoices etc...but I would like to hire a php programmer to code add a extra module to it – like a remote login module.

 

I would like the client to be able to see my screen remotely from anywhere they are. I would like it to be as simple as possible for them without using remote login software...through my web client area only.

 

Is this possible to do with php and the correct server technology? Is this a major undertaking to do this?

I don't think php could do this. You'd need something a bit more powerful. Have a look at adobe contribute or vnc.

ok thanks for the pointer. Its fustrating because I only want the client to see my screen - not control or anything. I would have thought that this would be easyly integrated into my portal without using remote login software..I may even set up a webcam onto the screen or something for my design meetings

If it's just for design meetings then there is a plethora of free software available where you could see eachother's screen.

 

 

true but some of my clients are not the best when it comes to computers . I just want to make it as easy and smooth as possible for them..and I thought just logging into a session in my portal would be neat.
