Review my website

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I am in a business to create Commercial Playground Equipment, School Play ground Equipment and Structures. Please review my website. I have started promoting this website to get business.

Let me knwo what more addition can be done in this website

Thanks

Playground Equipment

Morning. From what I can see this is used by some kind of CMS?

Anyway the design. It is very 1995. Try using altering line-height, use font size/weight/colour to emphasise the headings and links.

You are also using images for text which is not good for your SEO, especially in links/anchors.

And on a personal note, this is a site for selling School Playground Equipment? It looks like its selling 4th of July equipment.

Create a theme to help sell the equipment not just the text.

Regards,

Phil

i agree it looks 10-15 years old, it doesn't have to be to flash but customers will see hardly no effort has gone into the site so maybe the same with the products,

For an American site I have seen much worse!

There seems to be a trend across in the states where they all have a retro feel to them. Obviously this is not the case for all sites and I don't claim to know the American market very well, but from my experience these kind of sites do fine for the septics...

Maybe it's a culture thing because in Japan and that kind of place they have really busy complex designs (in print at least) but they are used to looking at what we'd call a jumble of data and picking out just what they want...

Anyway I would have to say the most likely aspect of the site to put me off as a buyer would be that you jump from:

homepage: http://www.americanswing.com/index.php

that's one design

more information pages: http://www.americanswing.com/content/playground_equipment.php

different design, not massive difference but still there

and then you have an almost stock osCommerce install: http://www.americanswing.com/oscommerce/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=39

which looks totally different... people might be afraid that they are going to different sites, which is not going to persuade them that they should trust you with their card details!

Anyway these are my views. I hope they help!
