Has anyone else come across (intermittent)problems with Google Chrome and Javascript?

(I've googled, Google Chrome + Javascript and it does seem problematical)

 

I'm using easySlider1.7 for a wee slideshow. In FF/IE you see the full picture, but in Chrome you sometimes see a narrow strip (see attached picture)

Got a live example, i've never seen this. I'm on chrome 4 though.

Please ignore the design, or lack of, as it is just a temporary landing page - I'm waiting on input from them before creating a proper one.
