Security and DVD distribution

Hi,

I'm designing a site for a client who has now asked me to put it on to a DVD. Apparently she has clients who have no or limited access to the web (in this day and age!).

Putting it on a DVD is not a problem of course but she's also asked for a level of security - when the home page opens users need to enter a password to enter the rest of the site.

My first thoughts that all the files are there anyway and anyone can just browse to any page they like. But is there a way of applying this level of security, and if so, how?

Hope this isn't an innapropriate question for what is a web forum.
