Hi there this is my first post on this forum so please take care of me. Im a wannabe web desginer who has finally got his hands on web desiging tool and decided to make use of it but as i am im now i have no idea where to start so please can anyone impart with some winsdom on how i make myself from a beginner to something thats not a beginner.

If you aren't experienced, it's often useful to google for "free website templates", choose one and edit it. If you get screwed up, just start again with a working file.

 

Also use w3schools for tutorials http://www.w3schools.com/

 

Don't use design view in programs like Dreamweaver (use manual coding), they produce over-complicated code and you don't learn anything. Make and edit code manually in a text editor like Notepad, Wordpad or Notepad++ (definitely not Word as certain characters like " and ' carry special attributes).
