November 2, 200916 yr Hi guys Now i have Jquery lightbox done and set up, i was wondering if anybody here has by any chance managed to get text into lightbox rather than just images. Issue being, you cant optimize jpegs in any way can you? Cheers
November 2, 200916 yr Hello, The only way I've been able to add text was to add a caption to your photo (http://lightbox2.com/jquery-lightbox-text.html)....other than that, I would just edit the photo its self and then use it as such. Best regards, CoffeeCup.com
November 2, 200916 yr Author I had a feeling that it wasnt possible. What i have been doing is making images in photoshop with a paragraph in them but as far as i know, unless my 'alt' tags are full of key words or the actual paragraph. Optimisation for wording in the image isnt possible, seeing as its just an image lol Thanks
November 2, 200916 yr most lightbox plugins let you add a title tag with a comment about the photo which then shows up under the photo. if you mess around with the CSS you should be able to make the caption area bigger and just add the paragraph to your title tag? just an idea

Basically what i did, made a jpeg about 600px wide, and 10px high. Made that as the refernce lightbox image, then threw in a caption with the paragraph. Light box altered to whatever size the caption was awesome thanks for the help guys.
