Is google doing its dance at the moment? Anyone seeing drastic changes in results?

Ohhhh dear... is it *that* time again...

 

I've just had a squint at some stats from a few Google datacentres, and there's a bit of variation. Perhaps an update of sorts is rattling through the system.

 

Don't panic.

 

Give it a few days, and it may just stabilise.

I heard some news that Google was cracking down on a largescale searchj engine manipulation. Could be the ripples of this.

Algorithm change and crackdown on paid directories, should calm down in a month or so
