October 5, 200917 yr I'm really wondering about why hosting providers stick with Plesk? cPanel barely beats it and it has more options than plesk. After login, accessing to submenu items, you have to click more than one time in plesk, with cPanel standart installation it's a one click. Sometimes this is really make me mad, i'm getting tired of clicking many times to access simple thing plesk. As a user i don't have any pros for plesk and it's very slow. Your comments are welcome for both providers and users.
October 5, 200917 yr We use it because the interface is very nice and although Cpanel does have more options, this is really a double edged sword for hosting providers as more options = more support enquiries and more things for our support team to learn. Personally I love Plesk as a user and a provider. I think it is a very well thought out piece of Software.
October 5, 200917 yr I personally much prefer cPanel simple to use, but very powerful. BenTheDesigner
October 6, 200917 yr I think most hosting providers have been burned by Parallels in some way in the past. VMware et al is excellent but I can't see Plesk standing up against cPanel in the future. cPanel seems to improve with every release whereas Plesk doesn't really seem to be going anywhere at all...
