Client wants me to use templates

So a potential new client (being uninformed) wanted to hire me but wanted me to use register.com's template engine. He some how managed to get the $200 service for free so he wants to use it instead of Bluehost. Do any of you know if it allows for FTPing of custom code? If not I'm going to have to make him move off that system because I don't do template work. All custom code over here.
