Do't know what's going on but a great effect any way. I only used JQuery once and that was by simply copying and modifying code supplied.

I see a possible problem. In the demo they have put a selection of different animations. You have put all of them in your page rather than choosing one. This could be whats making go funny. At the moment your asking it to do 6 different animations on hover.
