November 16, 200718 yr Hello! I'm developing an application that runs under intranet. What do you think about the color? They would be "high contrast", "resting" and "beatiful"... Any suggestion?
November 16, 200718 yr high contrast maybe, resting and beautiful no. Some shades of red and green work together, but those ones don't at all...plus it is harsh on the eyes. My suggestion is to change the colours, have a look on this site http://kuler.adobe.com/ to find some colour pallets that will work to your needs. Just because the contrast in colours has to be high it doesn't mean you have to go to the opposite end of the colour spectrum to find it. Complimentary colours only compliment each other if they have something in common, such as being warm or cold colours. At the minute your green is a cold green and your red is warm so they clash.
