I need to use find a valid XHTML element which no-one uses. Here is a list of XHTML 1.0 elements.. which ones have you never of heard of and which ones have you never used?

http://www.sagehill.net/livedtd/xhtml1-strict/ElemList.html

Here is my set of elements: (nh for never heard of, nu for never used)

- abbr nu

- acronym nu

- base nh

- bdo nh

- cite nu

- code nu

- dfn nh

- ins nu

- kbd nh

- samp nh

- var nh

so what are yours?

* it would be helpful, if you could find ones which are stylable in most browsers (IE6+, FF) *

pre? I think its slightly more heard of than some of the ones you posted but its defitatley styleable.

I've never used BDO or TT because I've never had any use for it.

I've used, but never use anymore AREA, BIG, SMALL, HR, I, B, U.

As far as I know, it's only the ABBR element that doesn't style in IE6 and older.

Here is a list of mine.

+ abbr

+ acronym

+ bdo

+ blockquote

+ cite

+ dfn

+ dl

+ ins

+ kbd

+ samp

+ tfoot

+ thead

+ var
