Colors Change in Photoshop When Save for Web?

Featured Replies

Yesterday my IT department at work installed a new video card for my monitor. The next day the strangest thing happened when I went to save a file in Photoshop using save for web. The colors changed significantly while saving the file as a jpeg. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

It could be to do with the colour profile setting. Save for Web will strip out some info it won't be using which can cause colour change.

You haven't got a proof mode switched on?

Something else to try - click that little arrow button beside 'Preset: unnamed'. See whether 'Convert to sRGB' is ticked and untick if it is.

Thanks so much!! My proof mode was on but my proof setup was set to working CMYK for some reason. I changed it to Monitor RGB. (view>proof setup). I appreciate your help! :)
