Looks good. Although the edge looks very bad, especially on the 'E'. The colors on the 3d part looks very strange, something more smoother would look nice, maybe your going for a glassy effect? Quality isn't good enough to really know. :)

thanks for the quick response always a good thing in design

@Robbie and andrew i agree i knew the 3d looks nothing like it should so i may make it a solid colour

@ Alzer81 this tut is in ai which i tried but doesnt have the cool gloss effect ,I was following this digital arts tut http://www.digitalartsonline.co.uk/tutorials/index.cfm?featureID=1617

which uses xara a 3d prog, if anyone knows how to use it /for lighting and getting good 3d text that would be ideal

ill post another version asap thanks all :)

yes but that tutorial looks pretty brief to me to achieve what looks a fairly difficult process to get it completley right. Maybe you should look at another tutorial on how to gain that effect. It might give you more of an insight on how to do it in more simple steps.

May i ask where you will use the logo? It looks good with 3D effect as a image. As a logo I think simple is the best.
