Hello!

 

I'm new to CSS & HTML, so don't take me too serious. Please, take a look at attached files. This is the menu I want to make (menu_1.png is off status, menu_2.png is on status). I succeeded in making this as image only, but when I move mouse over this menu I have to wait until menu_2 picture loads and also it is in form of square, but I don't want it to be like this, I want it to be active when I move mouse in circle only. Is there any other way out do this? Maybe I should use JavaScript for this?

 

Also, I can't understand how would one do connection between menu and content of page. For example, I have two items in menu like on picture. When I press "Test 1" I see some text appearing inside content of page, when I press "Test 2" I want to see another text appearing inside same content of page. I've been using Joomla before and it is made with function that calls component to open. Is there an easier way to do this? Example is here or here.

Nobody knows? I'm feeling weird - I guess its quite simple to connect link to some content and show it, but I just don't seem to find anything in the net. How would I do it? Do I need to connect to MySQL?

If you post up a working demo of your PNG nav rollovers I'll take a look for you if you like.
