Domain Forwarding to ASP Website

Featured Replies

Hi; I am new to this forum and wonder if anyone has any ideas / experience of Domain Forwarding to ASP powered website? The challenge is that a new website has been developed for over 700 members - each with their own 'landing page' which is simply an extention of the main website: ie: http://www.website.com/membersname

Most members have their own seperate domain names which up until now have been forwarded in the usual way to a previous website (written in HTML - Java etc) without difficulty. However due to the completion of a brand new ASP website, I need to be able to re-direct existing members to their new website, in particular, their appropriate web page; which contains their specific contact information etc.

The difficulty experienced is that when I use any one of these methods of re-direction: Domain Forwarding direct from the members domain host, or Hyperlink - Interactive Button etc from a members own website, or Inline frame targeted to the new website / members landing page, or encrypeted inline frame as previous; the page displayed is frewqeuntly the companies default landing or index page rather than the required members landing page.

This problem presents itself usually via Internet Explorer 6 7 ot 8 and Safari browsers. Firefox works more often than not, but is still not completely reliable.

The question is: Does anyone know of any other method of re-directing one domain / URL to a specific webpage which is written in ASP or powered by ASP?

Any suggestions would be sincerely appreciated... Thanks
