Text In Divs

Featured Replies

Hey,

So my design started with all my text being images now I am putting the site together in Dreamweaver I am replacing the images with real text with one baffling issue. When typing in a div when I push return to go onto a new line the gap is extremely big however if it's continous typing onto the next line it's perfect. I have changed the line height in the css which is great but not for text that has started a new line by pushing return.

How do I go onto the next line without pushing return and having such a ridiculous gap between the lines?

Many Thanks

Luke

If you need an example look at my site and the about me section and the horrible gap between the first sentence and the rest of my about part

use the code panel ... the dreamweaver design bit it putting the new line as a new paragraph,

open up the code panel on dreamweaver and hand code it, for the best results e.g

 <p>This is a paragraph. <br />
   This is a new line in the paragraph </p>
<p>This is another paragraph.<br />
This is another line in another paragraph
</p>

It's so much easier to hand code everything B)
