Shadowbox used for HTML pages

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a plain contact form and it's named "contact.html".

I've added,

<a href="/contact.html/" rel="shadowbox">Contact Me</a>

My videos and pictures are working and I've init

Shadowbox.init({
language: 'en',
players:  ['img', 'html', 'wmp', 'qt']
});

As you can see there's HTML being init.

So anyone knows how to solve this?

You haven't defined the results you are getting, nor what you are after.

A quick look at my own code reveals you have to be a bit more initialising

Shadowbox.loadSkin('classic', 'media/plugins/shadowbox_src/skin/');

Shadowbox.loadLanguage('en', 'media/plugins/shadowbox_src/lang/');

Shadowbox.loadPlayer(['img'], 'media/plugins/shadowbox_src/player/');

window.onload = Shadowbox.init;

Perhaps if you pasted the entire code block we would be able to see what's going on?

Hi tidysi, thanks for the reply.

But if I chose only 'img' as the player, would it only load image?

I need to load images, a video and the contact form (which is contact.html).

Images and video are doing well.

Anyone is able to solve this? I don't wish to affect my shadowbox used on my pictures and video.

I've tried linking google, it works. But for my HTML codes, it won't work.

<a href="http://google.com/" rel="shadowbox">Contact Me</a>

I've tried putting the contact form in a folder, renamed it as "index.html" and linked like this:

<a href="/php-email/" rel="shadowbox">Contact Me</a>

Anyone has any idea?

Try doing it the same way you did google so if your contact.html file is in your main directory of your webspace you should be able to replace http://google.com<< with http://yoursite.com/contact.html

Hope that works

Thanks for the reply MOTIF.tv.

I've tried using this before:

<a href="/contact.html/" rel="shadowbox">Contact Me</a>

It's the same as http://yoursite.com/contact.html right?

Take the final slash off (the one after ".html") - it shouldn't be there.

Thanks ZigPress. Once I'm able to edit the code, I'll reply back here again. Thanks for the tip.

<a href="/contact.html" rel="shadowbox">Contact Me</a>

It's not working. It directly brings me to my contact page.

Thanks for the help anyway, ZigPress.
