June 12, 200917 yr Well, Stayed up way to late last night trying to fix this and it's probably something simple enough I'm doing wrong but basically my text which I'm floating right won't wrap in the div and it's staying on a single line rather than moving to the next one each time it hits the set width of the box. Here's the CSS code for it body {font-family: arial, Helvetica, Tahoma, Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; color:#fff;margin:0px; background-image: url();background-repeat:repeat-x;background-color: #23576a; } #container {width:990px; height:auto; margin-right:auto;margin-left:auto;} #welcome_header{width:990px; height:114px; background-image:url(images/welcome_header.gif); background-repeat:no-repeat;} #back_slice {width:990px; height:auto; background-image:url(images/contentback_slice.gif); background-repeat:repeat-y;position:absolute;} #content_wrap {width:940px; height:auto; margin-right:auto;margin-left:auto;} #banner{width:940px;height:253px;position:absolute; } #left_banner{width:640px; height:253px;background-image:url(Images/festival_banner.jpg); background-repeat:no-repeat;float:left;position:relative} #right_banner{width:300px; height:253px;float:right;position:relative;} #main_content_wrap{width:940px; height:auto;float:left;} #left_content_wrap{width:638px;height:auto; margin-top:10px;border:1px solid #ededed;float:left;} #right_content_wrap{width:292px; height:auto; margin-top:10px;border:1px solid #ededed;float:right; } <div id="container"> <div id="welcome_header"> </div><!--end of welcome header--> <div id="back_slice"> <div id="content_wrap"> <div id="banner"> </div><!--end of banner--> <div id="left_banner"> </div><!--end of left banner--> <div id="right_banner"> <table width="300" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td><a href="radio.htm" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Radio Show','','Images/radio_show_banner2.gif',1)"><img src="Images/radio_show_banner.gif" alt="Radio Show Link" name="Radio Show" width="300" height="85" border="0" id="Radio Show" /></a></td></tr> <tr> <td> <a href="http://www.bebo.com/escap3" target="_blank"onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Bebo Link','','Images/bebo_banner2.gif',1)"><img src="Images/bebo_banner.gif" alt="Link to Bebo Page" name="Bebo Link" width="300" height="84" border="0" id="Bebo Link" /></a></td> </tr> <tr> <td> <a href="downloads.htm" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Downloads Page','','Images/downloads_banner2.gif',1)"><img src="Images/downloads_banner.gif" alt="Downloads Page" name="Downloads Page" width="300" height="84" border="0" id="Downloads Page" /></a></td> </tr> </table> </div><!--end of right banner--> <div id="main_content_wrap"> <div id="left_content_wrap"> bvsjnxbsdfbonoengpnbjrnsvengpnbjrnsvnpdsjv sdfvjnsdjnsdfn jknsdkjsdnvb;ldfv\sdlkjvb\spvsdpsdbvpsdnpdsjv sdfvjnsdjnsdfn jknsdkjsdnvb;ldfv\sdlkjvb\spvsdpsdbvpsdvbrv9dhdfdfndfgnfgnfndndf\n\dwerbrb83gh49\<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> sbsddsb </div><!--end of left content wrap--> <div id="right_content_wrap"> this is the<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> right content ofknonwoeignweignweopenpvoiwngioeniowenwpeignwininiunvbisrdnuisnbu </div><!--end of right content wrap--> </div><!--end of main content wrap--> </div><!--end of content wrap--> </div><!--end of back slice--> <div id="footer_finish"> </div><!--end of footer finish--> </div><!--end of container--> Any help appreciated, thanks
June 12, 200917 yr Can we have a link to the page, or post the html too? There's no way of saying what's wrong from the CSS alone.
June 12, 200917 yr Author Sorry guys, completly forgot to paste that in, edited the original post there
