Not so much web design related -

 

I've just switched to OSX, and copied files across from my external HardDrive, although I can only have read access to my external for some reason?

 

Also, some of the folders I've copied across are locked and I can't edit them? I've went to "Get Info", but it says I have read & write access here? :S

First thing I'd try is downloading a copy of Batchmod - it's donationware and makes life a lot easier when with dealing permissions on OS X.
