On some forums I admin on one of my websites I've noticed an influx of spam registrations. I have to approve all new users before they can post etc. so thankfully my forums don't contain a load of crap, on checking my email this morning I had this message from one of the 'users' I've not approved and subsequently deleted:

 

From: "Joachim Griesinger" <affigold12@gmail.com>

Subject: Delete My Account! I Am A Forum Spammer!"

 

This account was solely created to automatically register and then

spam as many forums as possible. The account created using this email

address should be deleted immediately.

At least he/she/it was kind enough to tell me that they were spamming my forums... LOL
