April 25, 200917 yr Hi, I'm creating my first web page and when I started in photoshop I created the document at A4 size. I now realise that I need to resize it smaller but when I try it the quality is not even readable. I've done too much to start over can anyone help on how to do this correctly?
April 26, 200917 yr Yeah been in this boat a long time ago, and even currently. If you want things to scale down properly without edginess your gonna have to head into the realm of vector graphics. i.e. Illustrator etc. Sadly can't help you get the images down and accurately without losing appropriate resolution. You can just keep playing around with the resolution and DPI. Maybe someone else knows of a way and also maybe this will be a good lesson learned. Sorry to hear about your issues
April 26, 200917 yr You could try converting the layers to a smart object as that retains the original image information so you can increase/decrease the scale and back to the first state you started with without losing detail but there will be a point where text and images will lose focus as your dealing with a pixel based programme. so apart from that I wouldn't know any others ways apart from image size and the transform tool as i'm not a guru
